These skip-the-line passes have become so common nowadays at amusement parks, it's almost the norm it seems. If you're on a time crunch then they're a great option to have, particularly on busy weekends or holiday times.
I remember my first Q-Bot was at Six Flags Over Georgia in 2004 I think, and I loved how they had their system set up. You could ''stand in virtual line'' for all the rides at once. When Dollywood started their Qbot system, it was set up differently as you could only stand in one virtual ride line at a time and stand in a new line once your Qbot was scanned for the ride before. I liked the Qbot, but parks have figured out they can offer this same skip-the-line pass system without having a middleman, like the Qbot company, to share revenue with, so here we are with what we have today at Dollywood.
Alright, so here's what I'm noticing...
Big Bear Mountain is now on TimeSaver Premium Only, and Only One Entry. I hope that they revisit the Only One Entry thing for 2024 onward, but this is what it is for 2023 it seems.
My other impression is that this (TimeSaver Premium) seems pricey, but inevitably you start thinking about the comparisons to Disney and Universal and so then you go, oh my god, Dollywood is so much more affordable than those two parks! Granted though, the experiences are different.
So, really, it's such a personal decision based on how much time you've got to spend in the park, and your finances and who all you're trying to please. So, If you feel inclined to buy one or more, then I say go for it!
If I come across any new information or updates to the TimeSaver Pass, I will post them below.
What do you think about this new options? Will you use it, or not, and why?? Let me know in the comments!

Update from 7/28/2023
I was at Dollywood yesterday, Thursday, and on our way into the park around 6pm, a super nice couple gave our party a couple of regular TimeSaver passes. I was excited to use them having written this blog post a few hours earlier. We headed straight for Lightning Rod, of course. We got in the TimeSaver Line and then I remembered that the TimeSaver is only good for one ride on Lightning Rod - not knowing if our gifters had ridden it or not. We waited in line for about 10 minutes to find out. The pass has a barcode on it, and they do have some newer system that keeps track of how many rides you have completed, whether it's valid or not, etc etc. The attendant scanned it and it worked for us, and off to the front row we went.On the left side of Big Bear Mountain's entrance is the Premium TimeSaver entrance, where an attendant will scan your pass. However, we found that the TimeSaver passes were not being scanned on other rides, perhaps because the lines were short or because of the unlimited rides for those. That was my brief experience with the latest TimeSaver!
