Hi Everyone,
As a Dolly Parton and Dollywood fan, I love sharing interesting facts and stories about them. Recently, I came across some fascinating photos of the Dolly Parton statue at the Sevier County Courthouse. The statue was sculpted by Jim Gray, a well-known artist in the area. The photos were taken at Gray's home in 1986/early '87, while he was still working on the statue. One of the commenters on the post said that Dolly Parton herself visited Gray's home to provide sketches for the statue. How cool is that?!

I have a video of the Dolly Parton Statue if you'd like to take a look. It's 60-seconds.
