🚨 New Video 🚨 Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas 2022!

 

Hi Everyone,

My video for Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas 2022 has published and I hope you'll take the time to watch it!  Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

I arrived before the sun set, so I was able to see some of the park before darkness set in.  I take in Showstreet, Market Square and Rivertown Junction before watching the Smoky Mountain String Band's Appalachian Christmas show at the Back Porch Theater.  From there, I go back to Showstreet and continue around Glacier Ridge towards the Wonderful Christmas Show, also known as the Christmas Tree Show.  I backtrack just a bit through Wilderness Grove, then I continue clockwise around the park showing you Wilderness Pass, the Northern Lights, and Craftsman's Valley.  From the old tunnel I check out the Village and Peppermint Valley/Country Fair areas.  I take the back path towards Rivertown Junction again, then go through Jukebox Junction, Adventures in Imagination and one last, I promise, look at Showstreet and the Palace Theater.  Plus, I'll show you some of the cool Christmas merchandise I found when I was at the park.  I do all of that and hardly say a word 😁.  So, sit back, relax and enjoy this Christmas trip through Dollywood!

🚨NEW VIDEO🚨Dollywood's Harvest Festival and Great Pumpkin LumiNights, 2022!🚨

 Hi Everyone,

I have a new video to share.  This is Dollywood's Harvest Festival and it was a lot of fun to experience.  I think this is the parks Fifth year celebrating Harvest with the LumiNights incorporated into it.  The park is really stunning this time of year with the leaves beginning to change color and the summer heat has finally taken a break to give way to cooler temperatures.  The fall displays are well done, of course! There's music at every single turn in the park. There's a lot to take in and see, so go ahead and watch!  The video's youtube page has all the chapters if you would like to skip around.  Below the video I will share some pictures of the day I was filming, including the Fall Merch from the Emporium.

Of course, these videos and pictures are great, but you really need to see this festival in person, so make sure you get to Dollywood to see it if you can.

🚨New Video🚨 GOOD VIBES Show 2022 at Dollywood's Back Porch Theater

Good Vibes at Dollywood's Back Porch Theater, August 31, 2022

 Hi Everyone,

I was so happy I watched this performance by Good Vibes.  This ensemble sometimes goes by other names too.  I saw them in the spring when they were Brighter Day, so I guess they change names with the seasons 🤷 No idea, but it doesn't matter - they're all very talented vocalists and musicians!  I really like how much they make it seem that they enjoy performing this show - sometimes five times a day, six days a week, in all types of weather, primarily heat - they make it look like they're having fun and I think that's dedication and hard work to pull that off.

At Dollywood, the Back Porch Theater in Rivertown Junction.  It's marked #101 on the map, and it's hard to see it when you are there in person, but it is literally the back porch of Dolly's replica of her Tennessee Mountain Home.  I used to see Dolly's uncle Bill Owens perform there regularly.  It's a nice place to see a show and take a break from running all over the park.  I recommend sitting in the front to get an unobstructed view.

The vocalists introduced the band in this video, but did not introduce themselves.  The only vocalists name I know is Dalton.  In addition to performing with Good Vibes, He also was one of several DJ's that emceed the Drone and Fireworks show at the Summer Celebration - he has a distinctive voice.  If anyone out there reading this knows their names - please let me know and I will update this post and the video description to give them the credit they deserve!  You can let me know in the comments below.
